About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Business & Sales Administrator to join our team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for a permanent position. This role is essential for the smooth running and growth of Caldeira Consulting. You will work closely with the Managing Director to implement our sales strategy and manage various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Collaborate with the Sales and the Managing Director to execute the company’s sales strategies.
  • Research and identify prospective clients within target sectors.
  • Initiate contact with potential clients via telephone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Build relationships and develop early-stage opportunities with prospective clients.
  • Qualify leads and ensure progress through the sales pipeline.
  • Maintain regular communication with prospects and support business development campaigns.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales pipeline reports.

Business Administration & Operations

  • Prepare and format professional documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain project trackers and organize electronic files.
  • Manage meetings, schedules, and follow up on action items.
  • Support invoicing, basic bookkeeping tasks, and maintain financial records.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient business operations.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Highly organized and adept at managing multiple priorities.
  • Commercially minded with a passion for developing new business.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable reaching out to prospective clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or administration is beneficial, but a willingness to learn is crucial.
