Part Time Caretaker

Job Details

  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm
  • Pay: £14.50 per hour plus holiday pay accruing
  • Location: Watford – WD24
  • Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Caretaker to work on a temporary ongoing basis at a large residential development in Watford. Working independently, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the communal areas to a high standard
  • Carrying out regular patrols, litter picking, bin store management, general maintenance tasks, minor repairs, contractor supervision
  • Investigating resident issues such as leaks, noise complaints, and communal facility concerns
  • Completing routine health and safety checks, including fire door inspections, emergency equipment testing, and site inspections
  • Ensuring the development remains safe, clean, and well maintained at all times

Requirements

  • Significant experience gained within a similar role
  • Previous experience of delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety processes
