Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part Time Catering Assistant to join our team in Brentwood, Essex United Kingdom. This position is for 15h/week - 3h a day during term time only (11:30am - 14:30pm). You are also expected to work 1 Saturday per term.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards
- Serve food and beverages to pupils and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth service delivery
- Set up and break down catering areas before and after service
- Handle customer inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Operate kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitude
- Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends during term time
- Time management skills and ability to multitask
