Classroom Teacher Vacancy

Contract Details

  • Position: Part-Time KS2 Class Teacher (0.5 FTE)
  • Contract: Fixed-term to end of academic year in the first instance
  • Reason for vacancy: To cover the temporary part-time working arrangement of a permanent staff member
  • Start date: ASAP or January 2027
  • Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

To start as soon as possible, we are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and creative KS2 Class Teacher to join our team on a part-time (0.5 FTE) fixed-term basis to August 2027. This vacancy arises due to a permanent member of staff temporarily reducing their working hours for a fixed period and will be reviewed towards the end of the contract date. This role will form part of a job-share in Year 5 working Monday, Tuesday and every fourth Wednesday in school with off-site PPA on alternate weeks.

The successful candidate will work closely with their counterpart to ensure continuity, consistency, and excellent outcomes for pupils.
