Description
Recruitment experts Optime are excited to be recruiting for a Cleaner on behalf of our client. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cleaner to clean the warehouse behind Manchester Piccadilly Station.
This is a part-time role ideally for someone who has a cleaning position elsewhere for it to work alongside this role.
Manchester Piccadilly is home to a warehouse that distributes food to trains.
The operation is currently looking for someone who can come in for 2 hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to clean the warehouse.
What's on Offer:
- Salary: £12.71PH
- Hours: 6 hours per week
- Shift Length: 2 hours per day - Monday, Wednesday & Friday
- Initial Shift Pattern: To be discussed
- Immediate start available for the right candidate

Key Duties:
- Supervising and leading warehouse teams to achieve operational targets.
- Allocating workloads and monitoring employee performance.
- Ensuring all warehouse activities are completed safely and efficiently.
- Supporting the management of goods-in, goods-out, picking, packing, and dispatch functions.
- Monitoring productivity and implementing improvements where required.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports using warehouse management systems.
- Using computer systems including Excel and other operational applications.
- Supporting management with performance, compliance, and operational reporting.
- Ensuring high standards of health and safety are maintained at all times.
- Working flexibly across a 5-day-from-7-day operational rota.

Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience.
