Join Our Front of House Team at Renault London West

Renault Retail Group is looking for a confident, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our Front of House team at Renault London West on the Great West Road in Brentford.

This permanent part-time role combines Dealership Hosting, Reception and Meeter-Greeter responsibilities. As one of the first people customers encounter when visiting the dealership, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional first impression.

We are particularly interested in candidates with recent experience in customer-facing reception, hospitality, leisure, health club, hotel, spa, or similar front-of-house environments where delivering excellent customer service is a core part of the role.

Officially entitled "Customer Diamond", this is a proactive position where a warm welcome, professional presentation, and attentive customer service are critically important. From greeting customers and visitors through to handling calls and enquiries, you'll help ensure every interaction reflects the standards of Renault Retail Group.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome customers, visitors, suppliers, colleagues, and VIP guests in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer incoming calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate department
  • Provide hospitality and support customers arriving for Sales, Service, and Parts appointments, including helping maintain customer refreshment facilities
  • Help coordinate refreshments, kitchenette supplies, consumable ordering, and general readiness of customer hospitality areas
  • Maintain the reception area and assist with showroom presentation and point-of-sale materials
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and general dealership communications
  • Operate dealership messaging, switchboard, and customer communication systems
  • Support colleagues across Sales, Service, Parts, and Administration departments as required
  • Undertake additional front-of-house and customer service duties appropriate to the role

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What We're Looking For

We are keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate extensive recent experience in a busy front-of-house reception, dealership host, hospitality, leisure, hotel, health club, spa, or customer-facing reception role.

You should be comfortable welcoming customers in person, handling telephone enquiries professionally, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining a calm, organised approach throughout the working day.

Good IT skills are essential, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Experience operating a telephone switchboard, computerized messaging system, or handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries would be advantageous.

As a result of the duties involved, particularly meeting and greeting customers, our preference is for candidates with recent customer-facing reception or hospitality experience rather than purely office-based administrative reception experience.

Working Pattern

This role operates on a 3-days-on, 3-days-off pattern, alternating with another Dealership Host and including weekend working as part of the normal schedule.

We are unable to accommodate alternative schedules or amended working arrangements. Applicants should therefore ensure they can commit fully to the advertised 3-on, 3-off rota before applying.

You should also have a flexible approach to providing holiday cover, attending training, and supporting key dealership events when required. Excluding agreed shift swaps, any additional hours worked beyond the normal rota will be paid at plain-time overtime rates. Depending on holiday requirements, this may amount to up to 15 additional days per year.

Our dealership does not open on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day, or Easter Sunday; however, other public holidays may form part of your working rota.

The role operates on a 3 days on, 3 days off pattern and averages 31 hours per week across the repeating rota. We require candidates to have eligibility and availability to work 30+ hours per week on a permanent basis.

Basic salary is £21,052.72 pa and is paid monthly.
