Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire – Hybrid Part time 3 days - agreed hours flexible to suit

Are you highly organised, detail-focused and enjoy keeping projects, people and deadlines on track?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Engineering Project Coordinator to join our Engineering team in Milton Keynes on a 12-month fixed-term basis. We can be flexible with how you work your hours as long as it is equal to the hours of three working days per week.

Working closely with the Engineering Manager, you will provide essential coordination and administrative support across a range of technical projects. You'll help keep project schedules up to date, monitor resources and costs, coordinate team activities and ensure important project and compliance information is accurately maintained.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, planning and project information and who wants to develop their experience within a technical engineering environment.

What you will do

As an Engineering Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in keeping our engineering projects running smoothly and ensuring the team has the information and support they need to deliver successfully.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Updating engineering Gantt charts and project schedules on a weekly basis, reflecting progress, milestones and resource requirements
  • Gathering progress updates from engineers and maintaining accurate project trackers, action logs and milestone schedules
  • Identifying potential schedule delays, resource constraints and project issues and escalating these to the Engineering Manager
  • Reviewing engineer timesheets against project codes to ensure accurate time recording and resource utilisation
  • Monitoring project expenditure against budgets and identifying cost variances at an early stage
  • Raising project-related purchase orders, processing supplier invoices and supporting expense claims within agreed financial limits
  • Supporting the maintenance of project financial information and reporting
  • Managing departmental health and safety administration, including OSHENS entries, incident and near-miss reporting and audit records
  • Ensuring Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS) and other technical documentation are appropriately recorded and maintained
  • Supporting the preparation of weekly and monthly engineering reports
  • Coordinating team holidays and leave requests, considering the impact on project delivery
  • Supporting contractor onboarding, site access arrangements and other project logistics
  • Working closely with engineers, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure actions and deadlines are followed through

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
