About the Role
Our client is an established and successful SME, boasting an impressive portfolio of blue-chip and disruptive clients across various sectors. Their success is powered by a team of exceptionally bright, inquisitive, and collaborative individuals who thrive on innovation and strategic thinking.
With an established presence in the UK and a growing office in the US, we’re looking for a Part-Time Finance Manager to own the full finance remit.
We're looking for someone either 3 days a week or 3 days spread over 4 or 5. This is a contract to begin with owing to urgency, but ultimately we're looking for someone interested in staying permanently going forward.
Part-Time Finance Manager - Responsibilities
- Solely responsible for the finance function
- Manage all accounts payable and receivable activities across the company.
- Daily accounting including supplier payments, sales invoicing, bank reconciliations, credit card and expense processing.
- Weekly cash reports and credit control status
- Monthly management accounts, including variance analysis & commentary
- Partnering with project leads regarding forecasts, revenue recognition, and invoicing processes
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Partner with our US support to run payroll, file company accounts, and manage the transfer price agreement
- Treasury and Working Capital, such as control over foreign currency bank accounts, proposing relevant FX trades, and completing WC management reporting and forecasting
- Supply in a timely manner all such accounting information as is required by the senior team
- Preparation of year-end audit file and statutory accounts. Liaison with external auditors and tax specialists
- Liaising with payroll bureau and benefits provider to run monthly payroll
- Prepare all tax accounting, tax packs, reporting, and settlements including corporation tax, VAT, payroll taxes, etc.
- Corporate, Legal, and Entity management
- Supporting operational teams with answering finance-related queries, assisting with project work, and ad-hoc analysis

Part-Time Finance Manager - Required Experience

- Must have worked for an SME business
- Must have experience working for a marketing services or other time and people, project-based business
- Preferably qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA, though QBE applicants will be considered too
- Experience working with international subsidiaries beneficial
- Paprika experience advantageous
- Proactive go-getter and problem solvers
Part-Time Finance Manager - Package
- Salary £60-70,000 FTE
- Hybrid working
- Part-time - 3 full days a week or 3 spread over 4-5 days
