Description
As an Academy Football Coach at Foxes FC, you'll help young players fall in love with the game and grow into the best version of themselves, on and off the pitch. You'll lead high-quality sessions for boys and girls aged 6–18 and be the face of The Foxes Club for players and parents every week.
You'll coach weekly training sessions and manage our weekend Matchdays, creating a fun, safe and challenging environment where every player is supported to develop in line with our academy philosophy. You'll work alongside UEFA-qualified coaches and learn from some of the best in the grassroots game.
Since 2009, Foxes FC has been leading grassroots football. We're a Nike Partner Club, a Junior Premier League club and 3 Star England Football Accredited, and our teams compete in the JPL, Harrow Youth League, Regents Park Youth League and Middlesex FA competitions.

- Player-first coaching. You get to know your players as individuals and adapt your coaching so every child feels safe, challenged and included.
- Matchday management. You stay calm and organised on the touchline, and you use games as a chance for players to learn and enjoy themselves.
- Safeguarding and professional conduct. You take your safeguarding responsibilities seriously and follow club policy at all times.
- Great with parents. You communicate regularly, clearly and warmly with parents, players and the wider coaching team.

Requirements
Essential Criteria
- FA Level 1 Coaching Qualification OR 1 year coaching experience
- Valid Enhanced DBS check and Safeguarding Certificate
- First Aid qualification
- Proven experience coaching children in grassroots or academy environments
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays
Desirable Criteria
- FA Safeguarding for Children certificate
- FA First Aid certificate
- Working towards or in possession of a UEFA C / FA Level 2 coaching qualification
