Job Description

Portico is currently recruiting for a part-time Housekeeper to join our team at our high-end boutique residential.

The successful candidate will join our close-knit, small, and friendly team who work to ensure that our guests have a memorable stay and leave with a smile on their face.

Duties of the Housekeeper include:

  • Promote and support a first-class and professional housekeeping service.
  • Ensuring the cleaning of the communal areas are to the standards of hygiene and cleanliness as laid down standards of performance. Inspecting and making sure that the building front entrance by the street level and courtyard are impeccable at all times.
  • Providing a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers. To dispose of rubbish in a safe manner, and ensure corridors are free from debris at all times. To clean and maintain any linen, towels, or other clothing materials that are used in an orderly manner.
  • Monitoring cleaning and consumable supplies, raising any requirements as needed.
  • Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies.
  • Dealing with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
  • Adhering to rules regarding health and safety and remaining aware of any company-related practices.

Hours: 08:00 am to 04:00 pm, 16 hours per week

Salary: £13,853


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • A keen eye for detail
  • An outgoing and friendly personality
  • Highly reliable and efficient
  • The ability to build good working relationships with colleagues, clients, and customers alike.
  • Basic communication skills, Must have good knowledge on different cleaning products and their safe usage.
