HR Advisor - Part-Time
We're delighted to be recruiting a part-time HR Advisor on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business, to join them on a fixed-term contract until April 2027.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a busy operational environment where they will play a key role in supporting managers, driving compliance, improving employee engagement, and ensuring consistent application of people processes across the organisation. This HR Advisor vacancy would suit someone who enjoys working closely with operational teams and making a tangible impact on business performance.
Salary and Hours
- £35,000 pro rata
- 24 hours per week
- Fixed-term contract until April 2027
- On-site position
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (pro rata)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law requirements
- Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability matters
- Conduct HR compliance audits and maintain accurate employee records in line with GDPR requirements
- Design and deliver coaching, guidance, and training to support line manager development
- Monitor, track, and report on mandatory training completion and employee engagement activities
- Produce HR reports and metrics relating to absence, turnover, compliance, and training performance
- Support monthly payroll administration and provide accurate HR data to the finance team

Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor role within a manufacturing environment is essential
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Proven experience managing employee relations cases from investigation through to resolution
- Experience coaching and supporting managers on people-related matters
- Strong administrative, reporting, and data management skills, including experience using HR systems
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
