HR Advisor

9 - 12 month FTC

Part time + Hybrid working (1 day from home)

£competitive + Car allowance + benefits

Loom Talent are currently partnering with a fast-paced blue-collar organisation with head offices in Leicester. This role will sit as part of a team supporting the company depots for one of their busy business units.

This role is a great mix of onsite operational support with the opportunity to travel on an ad hoc basis to support sites regionally.

This is a part-time position, working 24 hours a week over 3 days with one day working from home.

The Role

  • Manage and advise on ER cases having the confidence to coach managers on best practice and influence accordingly.
  • Build strong relationships with managers to understand their specific HR needs and provide practical, commercially focused HR advice.
  • Be the sole point of contact on site from a HR perspective, and comfortable answering queries.
  • Be proactive and ensure policies and procedures are up to date and fit for purpose, especially with the recent legislation changes.
  • Management of day-to-day HR activities supporting on key projects and initiatives across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Managing and supporting casework, offering proactive and solution-focused guidance to managers on employee relations matters.
  • Travel to sites across the north supporting when needed

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience operating at HR Advisor level with a focus on employee relations.
  • Ability to commute to Leicester and travel on an ad hoc basis to sites when needed
  • Experience working in a busy, fast-paced blue-collar organisation
  • CIPD qualified, or working towards your certificate.
