We're currently recruiting for an HR & Payroll Administrator to join a busy team and provide essential support across both HR administration and payroll.
The role will be responsible for helping to ensure the smooth running of HR operations and payroll processes, providing employees and managers with accurate, timely, and compliant support.
Hours: 20 hours per week, worked over 5 days
The successful candidate will need to be flexible in their approach to working hours, with some flexibility required around when hours are worked depending on business requirements.

PART TIME HR & Payroll Administrator Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all statutory requirements
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, employee changes, and leavers.
- Process payroll updates including starters, leavers, salary changes, benefits, and deductions
- Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager HR and payroll queries
- Assist with statutory submissions, including HMRC and pension requirements
- Support HR reporting, audits, and compliance activities
- Maintain accurate absence and holiday records and assist with benefits administration
- Provide administrative support for recruitment and wider HR projects and initiatives
- Ensure all personal data is collected, processed, and stored securely and in accordance with relevant data protection legislation and company policies
- Raise accurate and timely purchase requisitions to support day-to-day business operations

PART TIME HR & Payroll Administrator Skills And Experience

- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths are required
- A payroll-related qualification, such as CIPP, would be advantageous.
- Previous experience within an HR and/or payroll administration role is essential, with a good understanding of payroll processes, legislation, and statutory requirements
- Experience using HR systems and payroll software is required, along with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
