Factory Cleaner
Job type: Part-Time Temp to Perm
Location: Outskirts of Long Stratton, Norfolk
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, evenings
ISQ Recruitment is currently recruiting a Factory Cleaner for a busy facility on the outskirts of Long Stratton, Norfolk. This is an ongoing role offering consistent Monday to Friday evening hours.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and presentable working environment, ensuring the facility is cleaned to the required standards and ready for use the following day. Working as part of a small team, you will carry out a range of general cleaning duties across the site, following established cleaning procedures and health and safety requirements.
Key Duties
- Sweeping and mopping hard floor areas throughout the facility
- Hoovering designated areas where required
- Wiping down and cleaning surfaces, work areas and shared facilities
- Cleaning tables, worktops, kitchen surfaces and other shared-use areas
- Emptying and changing bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Padding down and cleaning floors and other designated areas
- Ensuring communal and working areas are clean, tidy and ready for use the following day
- Using cleaning equipment and products safely and in accordance with site procedures
- Replenishing cleaning materials and reporting when supplies are running low
- Carrying out routine checks to ensure all areas meet the required cleaning standards
- Reporting any damage, maintenance issues or health and safety concerns
- Following site cleaning schedules and completing duties within the required timeframe

About You
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable, particularly within an industrial, commercial or similar environment
- Comfortable working on your feet and carrying out physically demanding cleaning duties
- Able to follow cleaning schedules, instructions and health and safety procedures
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working evening shifts from Monday to Friday
