Summary
Our client, a scaling founder led multi-site healthcare business, is looking for a Fractional Head of Finance to support their business through a period of growth and investment on a 4 month contract.
The Role
- Produce weekly flash reporting and maintain cash flow forecasts.
- Perform bank reconciliations and allocate receipts against customer invoices.
- Manage sales invoice and receipt uploads, investigating and resolving reconciliation issues.
- Review and approve supplier payment runs.
- Support VAT submissions through transaction reviews and reconciliations.
- Coordinate payroll processing and post monthly payroll journals.
- Assist with month-end close, including P&L reporting and management accounts.
- Extract, manipulate and analyse financial data from Xero and Excel.
- Prepare board reporting and supporting financial commentary.
- Manage company expense platforms and employee spend.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis, commercial projects and site appraisals.
- Identify and implement improvements to finance processes, controls and reporting.

The Successful Candidate
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- A proven Financial Controller or Head of Finance with experience working with founders in a scaling business
- Experience working in a multi-site healthcare setting
- Strong track record of owning financial reporting, planning, and commercial insight
- Hands-on, commercially minded, and confident presenting at board level
