Job Opportunity: Part-Time Mac Engineer
Robert Half have partnered with an Analytics organisation are working with a growing technology-focused organisation that is looking for a Part-Time Mac Engineer to support and develop its internal IT environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the organisation's macOS device estate through Microsoft Intune.
- Handle device enrolment, configuration profiles, application deployment, patching and compliance.
- Support Apple Business Manager and zero-touch device provisioning.
- Manage the full device lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance and secure offboarding/wiping.
- Maintain accurate hardware and software asset records.
- Provide hands-on technical support to Mac users across the business.
- Manage and resolve support tickets through Zendesk, including triage, prioritisation and escalation.
- Support user onboarding and offboarding, including device configuration and access management.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and account-related issues.
- Identify recurring issues and implement improvements, documentation and self-service solutions.
- Support the administration of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID.

Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience supporting macOS environments.
- Proven experience managing Apple devices through Microsoft Intune or another MDM platform.
- Experience with Apple Business Manager and automated/zero-touch provisioning.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with device compliance, Conditional Access, MFA and identity management.
- Strong troubleshooting and end-user support skills.
- Experience working with ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Jira Service Management or similar.
- Strong documentation and process management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
- Experience supporting distributed teams across the UK and US.

Contract:
- Initial 12-month rolling contract
- Part-time
- Competitive day rate
