About the Role

Home Instead is currently seeking a MALE Support Worker in Burton Latimer to provide essential support to a client, helping them maintain independence in their own home and within the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with everyday activities
  • Supporting the client’s love of being outdoors and gardening (a rural setting would be beneficial)
  • Providing life skills support such as cooking and domestic duties
  • Helping the client access activities and remain connected with their community
  • Ensuring the client’s safety at home and outdoors
  • Building a trusted, companionship-focused relationship with the client

Requirements

  • FULL DRIVING LICENCE with access to your own vehicle (must be comfortable driving the client’s vehicle)
  • PREFERRED: Experience in managing challenging behavior (training and support will be provided, but willingness to learn is essential)
  • No prior care experience is required—comprehensive training will be given during orientation

Working Hours

  • Monday: 12:30 - 22:00
  • Thursday: 12:00 - 22:00
  • Friday: 12:30 - 22:00
  • Sunday: 16:00 - 22:00
