Marketing & Brand Executive | Part-Time | South Manchester

Paying up to £42k (FTE)

Our client is a growing engineering business operating within the industrial and manufacturing sector, delivering specialist products, services and engineered solutions to customers across a range of applications.

With an established reputation for quality, technical expertise and customer service, the business is continuing to grow and is now looking to appoint a part-time Marketing & Brand Executive to take ownership of its day-to-day marketing activity.

This is an office-based, part-time role offering three full days per week or circa 24 hrs over five days each week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and creative marketing professional to join a growing business and play a key role in developing its brand, increasing market visibility and supporting future growth.

THE JOB

As Marketing & Brand Executive, you will be responsible for managing and developing a broad range of marketing activity on behalf of our client.

Working closely with the sales, projects and engineering teams, you will help showcase the company's products, services, expertise and completed installations through a combination of digital and traditional marketing channels.

This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys creating content, managing websites, developing marketing materials and maintaining a consistent and professional brand presence.

You will have the opportunity to bring your own ideas to the role, take ownership of projects and make a visible impact on the company's marketing strategy and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and update company websites, ensuring content remains accurate, engaging and up to date.
  • Create, plan and schedule social media content across relevant platforms.
  • Produce customer case studies, project write-ups and other marketing content.
  • Coordinate photography and video content from completed installations and projects.
  • Create brochures, datasheets, presentations and other marketing literature.
  • Maintain and develop the company's brand across all marketing channels.
  • Support the sales team with marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Produce marketing reports and monitor the performance of marketing activity.
  • Liaise with external suppliers, including designers, photographers and media providers.
  • Assist with exhibitions, open days, trade events and company activities.
  • Generate new ideas and content to increase brand awareness and support business growth.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand projects and turn technical information into engaging customer-facing content.

THE PERSON

Our client is looking for someone who is creative, organised, proactive and commercially minded, with the confidence to take ownership of their work.

You will need previous marketing experience and be comfortable working across a variety of channels, from websites and social media through to printed marketing materials and events.

  • Previous experience in a marketing role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing websites and social media platforms.
  • Good knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
  • The ability to create engaging content and professional marketing materials.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to develop new ideas.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.

Desirable

  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial or other technical sectors.
  • Photography and videography experience.
  • Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing and website analytics.
  • Experience creating technical case studies and marketing literature.
  • The ability to understand technical information and communicate it effectively to a wider audience.
