15–20 hours per week | Aberdeen | Flexible around studies

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Part-Time Marketing & Content Assistant to join the team at XIC - #thecreativeprinter.

This is an entry-level role, ideal for a university or college student who wants to put what they're learning into practice. You don't need lots of previous experience - we're happy to provide training - but you'll need to be proactive, digitally confident and a fast learner.

What you'll be getting involved in

  • Creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
  • Taking photos and short videos of our projects and behind-the-scenes activity
  • Helping create blogs, project spotlights and website content
  • Supporting email marketing campaigns
  • Helping manage contacts, lists and campaigns within HubSpot
  • Supporting events, open days and other marketing campaigns
  • Using AI tools to support research, ideas and content creation
  • Keeping an eye out for great projects and stories happening around XIC that we should be talking about!

Who we're looking for

You'll ideally be:

  • Studying marketing, communications, digital media or a related subject
  • A confident communicator
  • Comfortable using Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Familiar with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook
  • Comfortable learning new digital platforms and software
  • Organised with good attention to detail
  • A quick learner who isn't afraid to ask questions
  • Proactive and able to bring your own ideas to the table
  • Interested in marketing, content creation and how businesses use AI

Experience with HubSpot, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics or email marketing platforms would be a bonus but isn't essential - training can be provided.

What you'll get from us

Hours: 15–20 hours per week
