EZ Living Furniture was founded in Galway in 1998. We are a family run Irish retailer operating nationwide, as well as a full online shopping experience offering delivery throughout Ireland. We are the largest independent Furniture Retailer in Ireland employing over 370 people.

About The Role
As part of the exciting launch of our new EZ Living Furniture store in Belfast, we are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Marketing & Customer Engagement Assistant to support our local marketing activity and help us build awareness of the EZ Living Furniture brand in Belfast.
This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys meeting people, getting out and about, and being involved in a fast-paced retail environment. You'll support a range of marketing, customer engagement and research activities both in-store and within the wider Belfast area. This is a part time role Friday - Sunday and is a fixed term contract until January 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Support local marketing activity surrounding the launch of our new Belfast store.
- Distribute promotional materials and leaflets in agreed high-footfall locations, local businesses and surrounding areas.
- Engage with customers and members of the public to introduce the EZ Living Furniture brand, our new Belfast store and current promotions.
- Encourage customers to visit the EZ Living Furniture website and explore our product ranges online.
- Support customer email acquisition and database growth through approved sign-up activity, ensuring all data is collected in line with GDPR requirements.
- Assist with in-store marketing activity, promotional events and the official store opening.
- Carry out local market and competitor research, including monitoring competitor promotions, activity and presence within the Belfast market.
- Gather informal customer feedback and insights to help the Marketing team better understand the local market.
- Identify potential local marketing opportunities, including businesses, community groups, events and high-footfall locations.
- Support the Marketing team with basic reporting on activity, including volumes of materials distributed, customer interactions, email sign-ups and other relevant results.
- Act as a positive and professional representative of the EZ Living Furniture brand at all times.

- Flexible and happy to work across a variety of locations and activities.
- Familiar with Belfast and the surrounding area would be an advantage.
