About Darcy Group
For over 90 years, Darcy Group has been helping organisations prevent, detect and respond to environmental pollution. We design, manufacture and supply industry-leading pollution prevention products and services across the UK and internationally.
We're looking for a proactive and creative part-time Marketing & Digital Assistant to support our Marketing Manager across all aspects of our marketing activities. From creating content and managing digital channels to updating websites, supporting events and coordinating marketing projects, you'll play an important role in promoting our brands and supporting business growth.
We value flexibility, collaboration and continuous learning, and we're committed to creating an environment where everyone can do their best work, continue to develop and enjoy a healthy work-life balance.
The Role
As our Marketing & Digital Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting the planning, creation and delivery of marketing activities across multiple brands and channels. Your work will include content creation, website updates, email marketing, event support, digital marketing and the production of branded marketing and technical documentation.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, Sales team and external partners, you'll help deliver high-quality marketing activities that are accurate, on-brand and delivered on time, helping to support business growth and strengthen our market presence.
This role is based on 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We recognise that flexibility is important, so the exact working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate to suit both the needs of the business and individual circumstances. The role is based at our office in Larkfield, with hybrid working available after probation.
Following your induction, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your workload with guidance and support from the Marketing Manager, allowing you to make a meaningful contribution while continuing to develop your skills.
This job description reflects the breadth of activities you'll have the opportunity to support rather than tasks you'll be expected to carry out every day. Priorities will vary throughout the year depending on business needs, marketing campaigns, exhibitions and ongoing projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
