Part-Time Marketing & Growth Associate | Green Orbit / SmartFitIQ
UK-BASED APPLICANTS ONLY

Green Orbit is continuing to build the team behind SmartFitIQ, our AI-assisted fit, allocation and audit platform for uniforms and PPE.
SmartFitIQ is being developed to help organisations improve sizing accuracy, reduce waste, strengthen audit trails, support employee wellbeing and deliver more inclusive PPE and uniform provision.
Our work has been supported through collaboration with CEMET at the University of South Wales, alongside growing engagement with public-sector, commercial and other strategic organisations as we continue to develop and validate the platform.
We are now looking for a UK-based Part-Time Marketing & Growth Associate who wants to contribute to the commercial growth, positioning and visibility of Green Orbit and SmartFitIQ.
Essential eligibility requirements
Please only apply if you meet ALL of the following requirements:
- You are currently resident in the United Kingdom
- You already have the legal right to work in the UK
- You can provide appropriate UK right-to-work evidence
- You hold a Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Brand Management, Media, Business Communications or another directly relevant discipline
- You are able to commit approximately 8–10 hours per week
Green Orbit is not able to provide visa sponsorship or relocation support for this opportunity.

The role will initially be part-time, approximately 8–10 hours per week, structured on an equity-based and milestone-vesting basis, with up to 1% equity available subject to agreed performance milestones, continued contribution and formal contractual terms.
The intention is to move towards paid remuneration as company funding and revenues develop.
This is a hands-on role rather than a passive advisory position. We are looking for someone prepared to contribute ideas, create content, support campaigns and actively help us build market traction.
Key areas of focus
You may support:
- Green Orbit and SmartFitIQ's LinkedIn and digital growth strategy
- Founder-led content, thought leadership, newsletters and campaigns
- Development of clear messaging around PPE, technology, sustainability, wellbeing and inclusion
- B2B and public-sector outreach
- Engagement with councils, NHS organisations, major employers and strategic partners
- Marketing materials supporting pilots, demonstrations, webinars and stakeholder engagement
- Case studies, presentations, pitch materials and digital campaigns
- Market, competitor and customer-segment research
- Brand positioning and communications strategy
- Communicating Green Orbit's work around equality, employee wellbeing, sustainability and responsible procurement
What we are looking for
Alongside the essential Master's qualification, we are looking for someone with:
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and brand positioning
- Confidence creating professional LinkedIn and B2B content
- Commercial awareness
- The ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging
- A proactive and self-directed approach
- The ability to work effectively within an early-stage business
- Genuine interest in building a company from an early stage

Experience within B2B technology, SaaS, AI, public-sector engagement, ESG, procurement, PPE, HR, occupational health and safety, workplace wellbeing or sustainability would be particularly valuable.
