About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and influential Office Manager to join our growing team on a part-time basis (3 - 4 days per week).
This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines strong operational expertise with the gravitas, credibility and leadership skills to coach, inspire and positively challenge a management team. As well as ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the office, you will play a key role in developing our leaders, driving performance and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be confident in identifying development opportunities, holding constructive conversations and supporting managers to achieve the highest standards from themselves and their teams. You will be a trusted advisor, role model and coach who is passionate about bringing out the best in people while supporting the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership, Coaching & People Development
- Coach, mentor and support the management team to maximise their capability and performance.
- Provide constructive challenge to encourage accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Identify leadership and development opportunities and support managers in building effective development plans.
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on engagement, learning and growth.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on people-related matters and best practice.
- Support the business in developing future leaders and strengthening management capability.

Office & Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring efficient systems, processes and ways of working.
- Continuously review and improve operational processes to support business growth.
- Take a proactive, hands-on approach to resolving issues and supporting wider business needs.
- Ensure the office environment remains professional, organised and conducive to high performance.
HR & People Management
- Work closely with outsourced HR providers to ensure HR processes are effective and compliant.
- Champion employee wellbeing and help create a positive workplace culture.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Ensure all new starters receive a positive and engaging induction experience.
- Support hiring managers with recruitment and workforce planning initiatives.
- Coordinate onboarding training and ensure completion of required activities.
Training & Performance Management
- Coordinate and support training and development programmes across the business.
- Lead and support appraisal and performance review processes.
- Facilitate 360-degree feedback initiatives and performance development discussions.
- Work with managers to identify skill gaps and development requirements within their teams.

Compensation & Workforce Planning
- Support salary benchmarking exercises to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures.
- Assist managers with workforce planning and organisational growth initiatives.
About You
- Previous experience in an Office Manager, HR Manager, People Manager or Business Support leadership role.
- A credible and influential leader with the confidence to coach, challenge and develop managers.
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting performance management, employee development and organisational growth.
- Comfortable handling confidential information and complex people matters.
- Proactive, resilient and capable of balancing strategic people initiatives with day-to-day operational responsibilities.
- Passionate about developing people and creating high-performing teams
