12 hours per week | Part-time, permanent
We’re looking for a reliable, proactive and thorough part-time Cleaner / Housekeeper to take responsibility for keeping our offices, creative studio and shared workplace areas clean, tidy and well presented.
Creative SD is a busy creative production company with a mixture of office, studio and workshop environments. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the details and can manage their cleaning schedule independently.
The Role
This is a 12-hour-per-week part-time position, covering our office and studio facilities.
Your regular responsibilities will include:
- Thorough cleaning of office and studio areas
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen areas, including sinks, worktops and appliances
- Cleaning and disinfecting toilets and washroom facilities
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Dusting and wiping desks, tables, chairs, cabinets, radiators and window ledges
- Cleaning doors, handles, light switches and other frequently touched areas
- Cleaning mirrors, sinks, taps and splashbacks
- Keeping staircases, landings, entrances and communal areas clean
- Keeping client-facing areas of our studio clean, tidy and presentable
- Monitoring and replenishing everyday washroom and kitchen consumables
- Keeping cleaning products and supplies organised and flagging when stock needs replenishing

Regular Deep-Cleaning Duties
We’d also like you to take ownership of a rotating deeper-cleaning schedule, including:
- High-level dusting and cobweb removal
- Upholstered furniture
- Internal doors and frames
- Kitchen cupboards and drawers
- Fridges and microwaves
- Areas underneath and behind furniture
- Detailed cleaning of office and studio fixtures and surfaces
- Other periodic cleaning tasks as required

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Thorough with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and able to spot what needs doing
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to manage their own cleaning routine and priorities
- Respectful when working around office equipment, creative work and production materials
- Experienced in commercial, office or workplace cleaning would be beneficial
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who will take pride and ownership in keeping our workplace looking its best, rather than simply working through a basic cleaning checklist.
Hours
- 12 hours per week
We’re open to agreeing how the hours are spread across the week, although some early-morning or out-of-hours working would be beneficial so that office areas and desks can be cleaned properly without disruption.
