We pay our teaching staff £30/hr for teaching and £15/h for admin and planning duties if and when they come available.

This is a part-time remote role for two online teachers: one Maths teacher and one Science teacher. Educators will deliver live online lessons aligned with the Success Academies curriculum, using the virtual learning platform to engage students in small group or one-to-one sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, setting and marking weekly tasks, monitoring student progress, and contributing to half-termly reports. Teachers will be expected to maintain high standards of safeguarding, participate in occasional online training, and collaborate with the wider teaching team to ensure consistent, high-quality provision.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with proven experience delivering Maths or Science content to school-age learners.
  • Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and Training skills, including the ability to design structured online sessions and support diverse learning needs.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage students and collaborate with families and colleagues in an online environment.
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, and at least 2 years of classroom or online teaching experience in Maths or Science.
  • Confidence using digital tools and virtual classroom platforms, and ability to manage lessons independently in a remote setting.
  • Current enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and up-to-date safeguarding training.
  • Reliable internet connection, appropriate home working setup, and availability for scheduled part-time teaching hours.
