About The Role
Please note this is a part-time role of 24 hours per week.
The Payroll Coordinator’s responsibilities include maintaining and updating payroll records, preparing reports, and providing information to employees on payroll matters. All pay related data must be corrected for the relevant time window for payroll capture.
- You will be confident working with data and information, whilst remaining focused and organised when working to deadlines.
- You will have strong IT skills, including good working knowledge of Excel, and the ability to navigate HR and payroll systems with confidence.
- You will be comfortable analysing information, producing reports and using data to support informed decisions, whilst knowing when to seek advice or escalate an issue.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential. You will work closely with colleagues across the HR team, Payroll, Finance and our Heads of Department, so you will need to be confident asking questions, querying information appropriately and following matters through to resolution. You will also be approachable and service-focused, providing professional and helpful support to colleagues when dealing with payroll-related queries.

About You
- Proven experience as a Payroll Coordinator or similar role
- Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail to minimize processing errors.
- Thorough knowledge of payroll procedures and legislation
- Experience with payroll software (e.g. ADP, Workday) and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Attention to detail and strong mathematical skills
- A strong understanding of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee pay data
- BSc/BA in accounting/business or relevant field; professional certification (e.g. CPP, CPM) is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration and employee support (verbal and written)
- A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Flexibility to work varied hours
- Takes pride in own professional grooming
- Ability and resilience to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Pride and attention to detail in your work
