Job Title: Part Time Payroll Co-ordinator
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to £17.95 per hour
Hours: 4 days per week
Hybrid: On offer following successful completion of probationary period
Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for a flexible part time position within a successful and growing organisation?
We are recruiting for a Part Time Payroll Co-ordinator to join a busy finance team based in Leeds. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working in a varied role, has excellent attention to detail and is confident managing payroll responsibilities in a fast paced environment.
The successful candidate will support the processing of both weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring all submissions and payroll related administration are completed accurately and within required deadlines. You will also provide support to employees with payroll queries and assist with wider finance administration where needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll
- Process monthly payroll
- Complete EPS submissions and HMRC reporting
- Analyse weekly timesheet data and provide payroll related reporting
- Manage Attachment of Earnings requirements and payments
- Support annual P11D processing across the business
- Respond to payroll and payslip queries from employees
- Process new starter and leaver information including P45 administration
- Produce annual Gender Pay Gap reporting using internal systems
- Submit pension and union fee deductions to relevant bodies
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks

Skills And Experience Required
- Previous payroll experience preferred
- Good understanding of PAYE, National Insurance and payroll procedures
- Strong Excel and data handling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Positive and adaptable approach to work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
