MMR Research Worldwide specialises in consumer and sensory research and works with large, international companies and brands within the food, beverage & personal/household care sectors.

We are recruiting individuals to join our expert sensory panels as a part-time Product Evaluator / Sensory Panellist.

WHERE: High Wycombe

HOURS: 16 hours per week Monday to Thursday. Hours will be set between 9.30am and 3pm but will not exceed 16 hours a week.

PAY: £13.22 per hour increasing to £13.54 after satisfactory completion of training period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working individually and within a team to evaluate cakes, biscuits and snacks.
  • You will be taught how to generate sensory descriptive vocabulary as a group (relating to taste, appearance, texture and smell) and then individually rank products on these descriptors.
  • No experience necessary as full training is provided

Requirements

  • You must not have any dietary restrictions (e.g. vegetarian) and be happy to evaluate alcohol products when required
  • You must not have any food intolerances/allergies
  • You must not have a strong dislike for any food or drink
  • Good sensory acuity relating to smell and taste (we assess this at your interview)
  • You should have the ability to follow detailed instructions and complete routine tasks quickly and accurately.
  • Have the ability to articulate yourselves in fluent English in front of others.
