Job Purpose
We are looking for a professional Part-Time Receptionist to join our small, friendly team in beautiful offices near Holborn tube station. As the first point of contact for our organization, you will play a key role in welcoming guests, managing phone calls, and handling administrative tasks. We value effective communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a team-oriented environment.
Core Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:00–6:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and professional manner to reflect our company standards.
- Answer phone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate staff members with courtesy and efficiency.
- Respond to inquiries from clients, visitors, and staff members in a timely and courteous manner, maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
- Maintain the meeting rooms and reception area, ensuring they are consistently tidy and presentable.
- Receive and distribute mail, packages, and organize courier deliveries with attention to detail and efficiency.
- Undertake general administrative and data entry tasks to contribute to the overall efficiency of office operations.
- Ensure the smooth running of the office and assist with ad-hoc tasks when necessary.

Candidate's profile
Key Skills
- Proven work experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly phone manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proficient in using computer software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- The capacity to remain calm and composed under pressure, ensuring professionalism in all situations.
- Familiarity with the technology required for presentations.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours and cover when necessary.
