3-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Monday & Tuesday – 9AM to 5.30PM – 15 hours per week | Hybrid Working

Salary: £21,000 per annum pro rata ( £8,400 per year pro rata)
Holiday: 22 days per annum pro rata

About the Role

We are looking for an organised, proactive, and personable Part-Time Recruitment Administrator to join our Recruitment Team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. Working Mondays and Tuesdays in a hybrid role, you will provide essential administrative support to our HR Officer and wider recruitment function, helping us to efficiently progress applicants through the recruitment and pre-employment process.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys speaking with people, working accurately, and supporting a busy recruitment environment.

We would ideally like the successful applicant to be available to start within two weeks, subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks and clearances.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the HR Officer with the day-to-day administration of recruitment activities
  • Conducting initial telephone pre-screening calls with applicants
  • Reviewing applications and progressing suitable candidates through the recruitment process
  • Completing and checking Right to Work documentation
  • Carrying out candidate due diligence and ensuring required documentation is obtained
  • Supporting pre-employment compliance and clearance checks
  • Contacting candidates to obtain outstanding information or documentation
  • Updating recruitment records and internal systems accurately
  • Monitoring candidate progress and following up where necessary
  • Supporting the coordination of interviews and recruitment appointments
  • Maintaining accurate, confidential, and up-to-date candidate records
  • Providing a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey
  • Supporting the wider HR and Recruitment Team with general administrative duties when required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Confident communicating with applicants by telephone and email
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable
  • Able to manage several tasks and priorities at the same time
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and other administrative systems
  • Able to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Reliable and able to meet deadlines in a busy working environment

Previous experience within an administrative role is desirable. Previous recruitment, HR, compliance, or healthcare experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Working Arrangements

  • Contract: 3-month fixed-term contract
  • Hours: Part-time – Mondays and Tuesdays
  • Working pattern: Hybrid
  • Salary: £21,000 per annum pro rata
  • Annual leave: 22 days per annum pro rata
  • Preferred start: Within two weeks of a successful offer, subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks and clearance
