About Us

The practice is independently run, by Lewis and Elaine, supported by a fantastic team, who are committed to delivering an outstanding level of service in the community and through this they have enabled a real “proud to be part of the team” work ethos. The team are supportive and really like to push each other to achieve their career goals, so as you would expect CPD, and certificates are highly encouraged. Lewis and Elaine have worked tirelessly to create a work environment that rewards its team and ensures they are treated fairly, due to this the practice has great retention rates ensuring continuity in the practice.

Our surgery is ideally based being just 7 miles from Manchester City Centre for cultural days out, or if you prefer country walks, the Peak District is just a short drive away and it is perfect for commuters having a tram stop just outside the practice! It is also just a short drive away from Manchester Airport which will mean there is no stopping your weekend adventures.

We have an amazing friendly, 5 strong nurse team that love to be kept busy as well as a friendly front-of-house team of 5 receptionists.

About the Role

By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, discharging patients and consulting.

To apply you will have good general nursing experience, ideally with an interest in Anaesthesia, and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. Whether you are newly qualified looking for your first role or an experienced RVN looking for a new challenge we would love to hear from you.

This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week. The role is based on an 8-hour shift pattern, working every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with shifts scheduled between 8:00am and 7:00pm. You will also be required to work occasional weekends on a rota basis.
