At inspiring vet care
Our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.
We are looking to recruit an RVN to join our wonderful team at Rosehill Vets on a part-time basis.
We take pride in delivering and maintaining the high standard of care our practice is known for. As an RCVS Tier 2 accredited nurse training practice, we are committed to supporting the progression of our team members.
Our team includes five RVNs, two student nurses, one animal care assistant, two clinical directors, four vets with an additional part-time vet joining in February 2026, five receptionists/support staff, and one practice manager. We're proud to have long-standing team members, including a receptionist with 40 years of service, a vet with 16 years, and an RVN with 26 years.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
This is a part-time role, working 32 hours per week with varied duties including nurse consultations and ops support. RVNs work a 4-week rotating schedule (3 early shifts and 1 afternoon/evening shift) and 1:4 Saturday from 9am–2pm. No out-of-hours work required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
