WHO WE ARE
We are Batch LDN. A made-to-order clothing brand rewriting the way we consume fashion.
Our collections are exclusively manufactured using our ‘Batch Model’ - a handmade-to-order method that produces only what’s necessary.
It’s a simple premise: if you only make exactly what you need, you cut out waste and overproduction. It’s a slower, more conscious method of manufacture.
And because we don’t have to account for the normal fashion mark-up, it allows us to sell high-end, luxury pieces at prices you can justify.
Think of Batch LDN as the backbone of your wardrobe. The forever favourites. Luxurious, versatile pieces designed for all the big occasions in life.
THE ROLE
Batch LDN is looking for a Part-Time Retail & Client Assistant to join our retail team at our flagship store in Seven Dials, Covent Garden.
This is a 2–3 day per week rolling position, primarily covering Saturday and Sunday, plus either Friday or Monday depending on the wider team’s working pattern.
We’re looking for someone energetic, personable and commercially minded who loves working with people and wants to become part of a fast-growing independent fashion brand.
Industry and retail experience will be a strong consideration, but it isn’t the deciding factor. We’re equally interested in potential, ambition, personality and cultural fit.
Our Covent Garden flagship is the heart of Batch LDN. Alongside the store, we have a café, bar, DJ set-up and private fitting rooms. We run events, collaborate with other brands and have a thriving community of customers, creatives and friends of the brand regularly coming through the doors.
You’ll be right at the centre of it.
As a small and quickly growing team, the job is hands-on, fast-paced and varied. We want someone who enjoys that environment, takes initiative and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
There is plenty of opportunity to grow with Batch LDN. For the right person, we’d love this to become more than simply a weekend job as the business and our retail footprint continue to expand.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- You have an interest in menswear, fashion, style and/or independent brands.
- You’re commercially minded and comfortable working towards sales targets.
- You’re a natural relationship builder and understand that great retail is about creating returning customers, not simply making one-off sales.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can confidently advise customers without making the experience feel overly sales-driven.
- You have a strong eye for detail and understand how presentation, merchandising and the overall feel of a space contribute to the customer experience.
- You’re proactive. If something needs doing, you’re the type of person who gets on with it.
- You’re reliable and dependable - particularly when it comes to weekend shifts.
- You’re comfortable standing for long periods, handling stock and learning to use our POS and retail systems.
- Most importantly, you’re excited by the idea of joining a small, ambitious company and helping us build something.
