Location: Kensington, London Position Type: Part-Time (Primarily Weekends & Event Evenings) Contract Length: 12-Month Contract (Opportunity to transition to Full-Time) Compensation: Base Hourly Rate

Role Description

The Part-Time Sales Associate (Luxury Fashion & Brand Events) will support daily in-store operations and customer service for Bessette’s London location. This contract, on-site role involves:

  • Greeting and assisting clients
  • Offering styling guidance
  • Ensuring a welcoming, premium atmosphere

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining visual merchandising standards
  • Managing stock on the sales floor
  • Handling sales transactions with accuracy and discretion

The Sales Associate will also help prepare and execute brand events, trunk shows, and special promotions, including setup, guest assistance, and event breakdown. Collaboration with the store and brand teams to share client feedback, meet sales goals, and uphold Bessette’s luxury service standards is a key part of the role.

This role has the possibility to turn into a full-time role.


Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and clienteling abilities, with a focus on building long-term relationships in a luxury retail environment.
  • Knowledge of contemporary and luxury fashion brands, trends, and styling, with the ability to offer confident, tasteful wardrobe advice.
  • Experience in sales and POS operations, transaction processing, and basic reporting.
  • Event support skills such as setup, guest coordination, and on-site problem solving for brand activations and in-store experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and inclusive approach to all clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including maintaining store presentation and stockroom order.
  • Ability to work on-site in London on a part-time, contract basis, including weekends and evenings as needed.
  • Prior experience in fashion retail, luxury sales, or hospitality is highly beneficial; additional languages are a plus.
