Part Time Sales - Oxford

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team at Loake Shoemakers. We are a family business, based in Northamptonshire, making traditional shoes since 1880.

Deliver exceptional service and create memorable experiences for every customer for one of the UK’s most respected men’s footwear brands.

As a Sales Assistant, you will be the welcoming face of our brand, inviting customers into an environment that reflects our heritage, craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence. Every interaction is an opportunity to share the story, build relationships, behind our products, and ensure each customer leaves feeling valued and inspired to return.

You will take pride in maintaining immaculate store presentation, introducing new customers to Loake, and contributing to the store’s success through attentive, personalised service.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Greeting and assisting every customer with warmth, professionalism, and genuine interest.
  • Offering tailored product recommendations through in-depth product knowledge and storytelling.
  • Maintaining exceptional visual merchandising and store presentation standards.
  • Supporting in-store events and experiences to attract new customers.
  • Processing sales transactions with accuracy and care.
  • Maintaining stock accuracy through careful handling and adherence to guidelines.
  • Taking additional responsibility for keyholding in the absence of management.

We Are Looking For

  • At least 1 year’s retail or customer service experience, ideally in luxury or premium environments.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence to engage naturally with customers.
  • Impeccable personal appearance and attention to detail.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team.
  • An enthusiasm for footwear and luxury goods.
