Are you a confident, friendly person who enjoys meeting people and has a genuine interest in property? Dee Atkinson & Harrison is looking for an enthusiastic part-time Sales & Viewing Agent to join our friendly and established team in Beverley.

This is a varied role combining office-based estate agency work with accompanied property viewings. You will be dealing directly with buyers and sellers, helping to provide the personal and professional service our clients expect.

THE ROLE

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting accompanied viewings and presenting properties in a positive and professional manner
  • Building a good rapport with buyers and sellers and identifying opportunities to arrange further viewings and market appraisals
  • Dealing with enquiries from prospective buyers and helping them find suitable properties
  • Keeping in regular contact with clients and providing feedback following viewings
  • Assisting with sales progression and liaising with buyers, sellers, solicitors, and other estate agents
  • Supporting the wider Beverley sales team with the day-to-day running of the office
  • Helping with property marketing and social media where appropriate

Experience with property marketing and sales would be an advantage, although this is not essential.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is confident dealing with people, well organised and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team. Previous experience in sales and customer service is important. Estate agency experience would be an advantage, although we would also welcome applications from people with strong sales and customer-facing experience in other sectors.

You should have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A friendly, confident, and outgoing personality
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Good knowledge of Beverley and the surrounding area
  • Competent IT skills
  • A full driving licence and your own vehicle

Business mileage is paid at 50p per mile.

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9.00am to 5.30pm
  • Every other Saturday: 9.00am to 2.00pm

However, we can be flexible on the days. There may also be opportunities for additional hours to provide holiday cover or help during particularly busy periods, although this is not essential.
