Location: Home working
Hours: Approx. 20 per week.
Boughey Roddam Housing Association is a small Social Housing Landlord that owns and manages 43 retirement bungalows in Newport, Shropshire. We are seeking a local, organised and proactive Secretary/Property Maintenance Co-Ordinator to support the Management Board in managing our properties. You will be the key point of contact for our tenants and must be approachable and friendly, with a genuine willingness to help. Being based in Newport Shropshire and knowledge of Newport and the surrounding area is essential. Previous experience of property management and accounts would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
- Property and tenancy administration
- Financial management
- Preparing budgets and monitoring income and expenditure
- Arranging meetings and minute taking
- Co-ordinating repairs
- Property maintenance and refurbishment projects
- Liaising with contractors
- Maintaining records
- Compliance, FCA and other annual returns
Requirements
- Based in TF10 postcode area.
- UK driving licence and own car.
- Ability to work from home office.
- Excellent, confident communicator.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Able to respond positively to challenges.
- Good IT skills with the ability to use various Microsoft packages. Knowledge of Xero Accounting Software would be an advantage but not essential. Full training and support will be provided. DBS check will be required.
