Role Description
The Part Time Security Agent will work on-site at Gatwick Airport, helping maintain a safe and secure environment for passengers, staff, and facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role also involves interacting with passengers and airport personnel, providing clear information, and delivering professional customer service. The Security Agent will collaborate with other security and airport teams, complete incident reports, and follow all regulatory and safety guidelines. This is a part time, on-site role based at Gatwick Airport in Manchester.
Qualifications
- Strong Security and Physical Security skills, with experience in maintaining secure environments.
- Knowledge of Personnel Security practices, including identity verification and access control.
- Ability to perform effective Surveillance, including monitoring CCTV and observing high-risk areas.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a calm, professional approach in high-traffic or stressful situations.
- Previous experience in aviation security, airport operations, or a similar regulated environment is beneficial.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to follow and relay procedures clearly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, carry out patrolling duties, and respond quickly to incidents.
- Relevant security certifications or licenses (such as SIA or equivalent) are desirable.
- Flexibility to work varied part time shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
