Part-Time SEN Learning Support Assistant – Wandsworth
Temporary opportunities | Part-time, typically 2–4 days per week | Typical PAYE rate £90–£110 per day, pro rata
Senovo is building a priority shortlist for current and upcoming school assignments across Wandsworth from now until December 2026. This advert represents a pipeline of temporary and contract opportunities rather than one named school vacancy.
The role
- Provide calm, consistent classroom, 1:1 or small-group support.
- Follow EHCPs and individual strategies set by teaching and SEN staff.
- Adapt resources and communication so pupils can participate and progress.
- Support positive behaviour, emotional regulation, safeguarding and wellbeing.
- Share useful observations with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral colleagues.

What we need
- Relevant experience with children or young people in a school, SEN, care, youth, therapy or community setting.
- Reliability, patience, professional boundaries and strong communication.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced child-workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete Senovo's compliance process.
- Formal teaching qualifications are welcome but not essential. QTS is not required for this support role.
