Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Interim Senior Communications and Engagement Manager role. This position involves developing and delivering strategic communication and engagement initiatives to foster a positive organisational culture and stakeholder relations. The successful candidate will join the client’s organisation for a fixed term period, on a part time basis
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement internal and external communication strategies that align with organisational goals.
- Develop engaging content across multiple channels, including digital platforms, presentations, and reports.
- Plan and execute engagement activities, events, and campaigns to enhance stakeholder involvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and information flow.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Manage communication schedules, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations efficiently.
- Support organisational change communication and facilitate feedback channels.

Person Specification
- Proven experience in communication, engagement, or related roles, preferably within professional membership or membership organisations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling content.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt communication styles to diverse audiences and maintain professionalism.
- Collaborative approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in planning and executing stakeholder engagement activities.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
- Flexibility to work on-site as required, including occasional face-to-face meetings.
What’s on Offer
- Salary: £41,520 pro-rata | FTE: £51,900 per annum
- Job type: Fixed Term Contract - maternity cover September 2026 to April 2027
- Hours: 28 hours per week - 0.8 FTE
- Hybrid: 1 day per week in the London office (Occasionally you will need to come in more often than one day a week for instance for all staff meetings or business meetings that need to take place F2F)
