Vertu Land Rover Taunton

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Showroom Host to join our dealership team in Land Rover Taunton. As the first point of contact for customers, this role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will be the face of our dealership, offering a friendly welcome, assisting customers, and ensuring that every interaction is positive, professional, and memorable.

This is a part-time role working 8.30am - 5pm (Saturday Only) with a salary of £12.71 per hour plus company benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Provide a warm, welcoming environment for all customers, whether in person or over the phone. Assist customers by understanding their needs and directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Data Handling: Collect and accurately record customer details. Ensure messages are passed to the correct departments in a timely manner.
  • Reception Area Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area, and uphold a high standard of personal appearance.
  • Customer Complaints: Handle complaints professionally, ensuring that issues are addressed quickly and communicated clearly to the relevant team members.
  • Social Media Management: Create and manage posts to enhance the dealership's online presence.
  • Property & Facility Management: Ensure the showroom and dealership property is maintained and well-kept.
  • Administrative Support: Oversee orders for stationary and manage the service diary for sales.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Health & Safety Coordination: Organize and manage Health & Safety training for the team.
  • Training Coordination: Assist with organizing and booking accommodation for team training programs.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong IT literacy and familiarity with basic office software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Proven experience delivering excellent customer service.
