Alexandra Harper Millinery London is growing and we need to expand our customer reach, connect with new audiences and build strong communities. We are looking for an experienced and capable Social Media Manager to run our online presence and marketing initiatives, and to facilitate growth of the brand.
Role Responsibilities
Content Strategy and Creation
- Plan, write, and execute content across social platforms (primarily Instagram and Pinterest);
Google Ads
- Plan, write and execute Google Ad campaigns, tracking performance indicators and metrics;
Klaviyo Emails
- Plan, write and execute Klaviyo Email Newsletter campaigns, tracking performance indicators and metrics;
Community Engagement and Loyalty Programme
- Build relationships with our followers and clients by replying to comments and direct messages on social media platforms, and via our new loyalty programme;

Website Stock Maintenance
- Update existing and add new products onto the brand’s Shopify website as directed;
In Store Engagement
- Warm and confident engagement with customers and processing of sales as necessary when on the shop floor.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
- Experience with Google Ads
- Experience with Shopify useful but not essential
- Proactive, reliable and trustworthy
- Interest in fashion, independent retail and ethical small business
- Retail experience useful but not essential

Location and Hours
This role is based at the AHM Atelier in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire (25 minutes by train from London Marylebone). It is a permanent part-time role, starting at 2 days per week, with the opportunity for additional hours and responsibility across the business. We will also consider applicants looking to freelance.
The Atelier is open Tuesdays to Sundays, 10am to 5pm. We can be flexible with start and finish times and the days of the week. There is also scope for working from home and event-based work in the future.
Salary or hourly rate is by negotiation. We believe in offering well above the minimum and aim to motivate and reward our employees through attractive rates, performance-based bonuses, training and social opportunities as appropriate.
