POSITION TITLE: Sports Admin Supervisor (part time)
DEPARTMENT: Parks & Recreation
REPORTS TO: Recreation Coordinator
EXEMPT STATUS: FLSA Non-Exempt position; eligible for overtime compensation
SALARY RANGE: $23.77 - $30.07 per hour DOE
Under the supervision of the Recreation Coordinator, the Sports Admin Supervisor assists with day-to-day administrative coordination of youth and adult sports leagues. Responsibilities may include team formation, registration records, rosters, schedules, and general customer service for coaches and parents. This position is estimated to work 4-8 hours per week, depending on support needs.

- Coordinate administrative preparations and deadlines for youth and adult sports leagues under the direction of the Recreation Coordinator.
- Review registration information for completeness and accuracy and maintain organized participant, coach, volunteer, and team records.
- Form teams using established placement criteria and registration information. Review coach and participant requests within program guidelines and refer exceptions to the Recreation Coordinator.
- Prepare and maintain team rosters, coach lists, waitlists, divisions, coaches' packets, and other league documents.
- Assist with developing and updating practice and game schedules, facility assignments, and schedule-change notices.
- Coordinate with on-site program supervisors so they have current rosters, schedules, contact lists, forms, and operational information before program activities begin.
- Update program records from attendance reports and roster corrections. File incident reports and assist with follow-up as directed by the Recreation Coordinator.

Education, Skills & Experience Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of experience in recreation administration, sports league support, customer service, scheduling, registration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience organizing teams, rosters, schedules, or participant records preferred.
- Valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or obtain prior to the start of the program)
- Ability to work a flexible administrative schedule, including occasional evening or weekend hours when needed for deadlines, meetings, or program support
