Description
Part-time role working to support our students to find and engage with the Go Global Team and take part in our global mobility opportunities, help them to ‘Go Global’.
(This is a part time 0.5fte fixed term contract until the 31st August 2027)
About the Role
There is role has specific responsibilities to maintain, update and develop information resources (social media, website pages, brochures, student and staff information pages, videos) and use various channels to promote available our Go Global opportunities university-wide, to undergraduate, postgraduate and recent graduates.
The postholder will develop, update and implement an annual marketing plan, providing comprehensive event management support and leading the Go Global approach to strategic engagement activities i.e. Welcome Week, Open Days, International Opportunities Fairs, etc.
Some weekend and evening work is required as a part of this role.
About You
Qualification & Experience: Experience of using computerised systems including database, image editing software, social media and Microsoft 365

Skills and Knowledge (E): Experience of the higher education sector in order to speak with knowledge about issues such as student life
Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrates an understanding of 18-21 year olds and how they access information.
Qualification & Experience: Experience of previous marketing campaigns
Qualification & Experience: Experience of creating content for marketing and/or social media
Skills and knowledge: Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentational skills
Personal Qualities (E): demonstrates an ability to cope in a busy work environment/juggle changing workload

Salary Grade 5 - £14,794 per annum, pro rata £29,588
This is a part time 0.5fte fixed term contract until the 31st August 2027
Please Note: This is a Hybrid working role with a requirement to be in the office at least 1 day a week. There is flexibility in this working pattern, however we would like some cover on Wednesday’s in order to attend the central university monthly Communications Meeting
