Team Administrator - 10 month maternity cover - 22 hours per week - £19,300 per annum

The Opportunity

We are a fast-paced and dynamic company looking for a motivated and energetic individual to support the daily tasks of our Executive Assistant to the Managing Director and Group Chief Operating Officer.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for an interesting and busy part-time administrative role, who is eager to develop, take on more responsibility, and make a positive impact. You will play an important role in helping key leaders stay organised, prepared and supported, while also helping create a positive office experience for colleagues and visitors.

This role offers real variety. Alongside executive and team support, you will be involved in office coordination, events, recognition activity and key business administration. The workload will also be shaped by business projects, giving you the chance to build new skills and broaden your experience over time.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide administrative support to our Executive Assistant, including managing schedules, booking meetings, handling travel arrangements and preparing documents
  • Provide 1:1 diary management and travel arrangement support to our Commercial Director
  • Support the Managing Director and Group Chief Operating Officer during periods of holiday cover for our Executive Assistant
  • Support the organisation and coordination of small and large offsite events and company functions, including Christmas and Summer parties
  • Assist with the administration of long service awards, ensuring timely and appropriate recognition
  • Order lunches for meetings and help create the right office experience for colleagues and visitors
  • Raise Purchase Orders, process manual payments and liaise with Accounts Payable for approval
  • Manage and process web expenses for key executives, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Support a range of business projects as required

The Package

  • Salary £19,300 per annum based on 22 hours per week.

About You

You are organised, detail-focused and confident handling a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy being the person who keeps things moving and takes pride in staying one step ahead.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders
  • Energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Previous executive or team support experience
  • Experience managing complex diaries and travel arrangements would be an advantage
