As part of our commitment to respond quickly to the needs of our students, we are seeking motivated and knowledgeable professionals to join our bank of temporary lecturing staff in Plumbing, Painting & Decorating and Brickwork.

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals with strong industry experience who can bring their expertise into the classroom and help shape the future of the construction and building services sector.
Previous teaching or lecturing experience is desirable; however, if you are new to teaching, we will support you in making this exciting career change.

- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and learning in your specialist area.
- Prepare lessons, assess student work, and provide academic support.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
- Support students to achieve their full potential in a safe and inclusive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Minimum SCQF Level 7 (for example, an Advanced Craft Certificate) in a relevant subject.
Experience
- Significant commercial or industrial experience in Painting & Decorating, Plumbing, or Brickwork.
Skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Desirable
- SCQF Level 8 qualification (for example, HND), teacher training, and previous teaching experience.
- Successful candidates should be prepared to work towards a professional teaching qualification.
