WE’RE HIRING: Maths, Science, English & Economics Tutors Type: One-to-one online tutoring, with opportunities for in-person and small-group lessons.
We’re looking for experienced and passionate tutors who can deliver high-quality lessons and help students build confidence, strengthen their subject knowledge, and achieve their academic goals.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Tutors who are not from the UK must have an IELTS Level 7.0 or equivalent English language proficiency to deliver lessons in English in their selected subject.
- Confident using virtual teaching platforms.
- Experience in one-to-one and/or small-group tutoring is highly desirable.
- Current students studying at UK universities and recent graduates are also encouraged to apply, particularly those with strong subject knowledge and relevant tutoring or teaching experience.
Role: MATHS TUTOR
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging one-to-one and small-group Maths and Further Maths tuition.
- Teach students across KS3, GCSE, A-Level, and IB Maths.
- Support students in developing strong mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, and exam techniques.
- Prepare students for GCSE, A-Level, Further Maths, and IB examinations.
- Tailor lessons to each student's individual learning needs and academic goals.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
Qualifications:
- GCSE and A-Level qualifications in Maths and Further Maths.
- PGCE in Secondary School Teaching.
- Valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Proven teaching or tutoring experience at secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the British Curriculum and/or IB Maths Curriculum.
- Experience teaching A-Level Maths and Further Maths is highly desirable.
- Qualified teachers preferred; strong university students with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

Role: SCIENCE TUTOR
About the Role:
- Deliver one-to-one and small-group online tuition in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
- Help students catch up, build confidence, and improve their academic performance through targeted support.
- Tailor lessons to meet each student's individual learning needs.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations using effective teaching strategies and exam practice.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
Qualifications:
- Valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
- Experience teaching or tutoring at secondary level.
- Qualified teachers preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching approaches to individual students.
Role: ENGLISH TUTOR
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging one-to-one and small-group English tuition.
- Support students across KS3 and GCSE.
- Develop students' reading, writing, comprehension, analytical, and communication skills.
- Prepare students for GCSE English examinations, including exam techniques and practice.
- Tailor lessons to individual learning needs and goals.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
Qualifications:
- Valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Experience teaching or tutoring students in an educational setting, ideally in English.
- Strong knowledge of the British Curriculum and GCSE English.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.
- Ability to work independently and adapt lessons to individual students.

Role: ECONOMICS TUTOR
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging one-to-one and small-group Economics tuition.
- Help students develop a strong understanding of key economic concepts, theories, and real-world applications.
- Support students in developing analytical, evaluative, and critical-thinking skills.
- Prepare students for relevant assessments and examinations through effective teaching strategies, exam techniques, and practice.
- Tailor lessons to each student's individual learning needs and academic goals.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
Qualifications:
- PGCE and QTS.
- Proven experience teaching Economics.
- Experience teaching IB Economics is highly desirable.
- Relevant academic background or degree in Economics or a related subject.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching approaches to different students and curricula.
- Confident using virtual teaching platforms.
- Experience in one-to-one or small-group tutoring is highly desirable.
