About The Role
Brown & Beyond is looking for a part-time Video Editor to join our creative team as we grow our presence across Liverpool, Manchester, and Birmingham. This is a hands-on role; you'll turn raw event footage into content that actually gets people talking, from quick social clips to recap videos that capture what our events are really about.
You'll work closely with our founders and content team, with real input on how our visual style develops. This isn't a role where you're handed a rigid brief; we're early-stage and building our identity as we go, so there's genuine room to shape it.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form video content for Instagram and TikTok, including event recaps, teasers, and behind-the-scenes clips
- Turn raw footage from events (freshers parties, career workshops, cultural festivals) into polished, platform-ready content
- Add text overlays, music, and basic motion graphics to match Brown & Beyond's visual style
- Organise and manage raw footage and maintain a clear file/archive system
- Adapt content for different formats and aspect ratios across platforms
- Attend select events to capture and/or edit content in near real-time
- Help develop a consistent visual identity across our channels as the brand grows

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
