Job Description – Live-in Care Professional
The Live-in Care Professional will reside with the client on a 24/7 basis and perform the following services:
Companionship Services
- Offer companionship and conversation.
- Stimulate and encourage clients through activities such as:
- Clothing selection
- Hobbies and crafts
- Accompany clients to appointments and social events, including:
- Visiting friends/family
- Lunches or club meetings
Home Help Services
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as:
- Dusting, vacuuming, making beds, and changing linens
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- Washing, ironing, and taking out rubbish
- Caring for houseplants
- Organise and tidy cupboards, check food expiry dates, and assist with shopping
- Ensure food safety practices and cook healthy, Italian meals from raw ingredients

Personal Care
- Assist with:
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Continence care
- Adapting communication for individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer
- Support with morning and evening routines
Essential Criteria
- Ability to listen, communicate clearly, and build relationships with clients and their families in a pleasant manner.
- Demonstrates respect for diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and medical conditions, with a commitment to non-discriminatory care.
- Reliable, excellent time management, and organisational skills.
- Adheres to high hygiene standards, including personal care and maintaining a smart appearance.
- Willingness to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant authorities.
- Class 1 business insurance (if using a personal vehicle) or reliable alternative transport available.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a resident of the UK.
- Must have valid Right to Work documents.
- No sponsorship available.
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required. However, if you have a passion for caring and the motivation to contribute to our goals, we welcome your application.

Pay
- £13.75 per hour
- Enhanced pay on bank holidays
