We're Hiring: Part-Time Youth Worker

Level Two Youth Project is looking for a passionate and committed Part-Time Youth Worker to join our growing team and make a real difference in the lives of young people aged 7-25 years and their families.

Location: Town Centre Hub & Micklegate Road Youth and Community Space
Salary: £13.85 per hour (£11,555 per annum)
Hours: 16 hours per week
Start Date: September 2026

About the Role

As a Youth Worker, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality youth support through a combination of:

  • One-to-one mentoring
  • Small group work in schools
  • Open access youth sessions
  • Community outreach and detached youth work
  • Supporting young people with sexual health advice in line with Terrence Higgins Trust guidance

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 Youth Work qualification (or relevant equivalent)
  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
